I like the chants and such, but the vocals are still quiet af but we wont talk bout that xd

X3LL3N responds:

Fixed, now they are bigger than the chants (the 2nd drop ones should be lowered maybe)

owo very nicu

X3LL3N responds:

Thanks, took me more time than Crisis for some reason
I guess for a first remix it ended up decent :>

Very nice, I do like the vocals and the dubstep part was really fucking intense ngl. If theres anything i should critic then it should be that some of the mixing isnt the best but a solid effort.
I do thing that the arp in the verse should be lowered a little bit, Or adjust the dry nob on the reverb to give it a bit more sustain as a background element. other than that i think its a solid song. 4.5/5 Great Job

Another-Time responds:

glad you enjoy it :>

Instantly Favorite, Its hard to find really good Melodic Dubstep/Future Bass Here on newgrounds so im really happy to see this, Ill definitly be remixing this in the near future. I love it my man

X3LL3N responds:

If there was a place to dedicate your music to, it would have been to you tbh.
Also thanks c:

It’s really nice, I really like the buildup and the drop is a lot more original than I though it would be. I also love the plucky intro you have. It kinda sets off a chill vibe then goes hard. The only things I would critique is Mixing and lack of bass.

The mix:
I think it’s bueatifully produced tho I think it could’ve been mixed more, the basses you could eq and add a bit more compression and sausage fattened for some beefiness. Maybe a bit more reverb and compression on the lead. I also think distortion would be good but not too much.

Lack of bass:
Now I think what you tried to focus on was instruments and that’s never a bad thing, though it’s always good to have a fatty bass stack. I hear you do have a mid bass in the verse but that seems to be it. If you wanted you could eq around 120hz and put a fat sub bass in there and compress it slightly. Also if you haven’t already you should layer your basses with sub bass to give it a punchier feeling. Basses don’t have much low end either so sub helps with that.

Patterns:
I think it’s a fair a original drop as though I think you tried to throw a lot of basses at once and that kinda ruins the drop, though I think it’s important to have some sort of patter. I’ll revert to wubbix and virtual riot for patterns. Wubbix uses a patter with is laid out in 8 bars, with on bar being a letter

A B A C A B A D

I’ve used this myself and it works quite well. For virtual riot he talks about Call and response a lot when it comes to patterns, which means that each part of the track goes back to each other and developes onto each other.

Anyway I’m sorry for such a long review but I wanted to talk about this track. Anyway keep up the work :)

THEBDX responds:

Omg! I really appreciated you are review <3 Thanks! It's Helpful... <3 <3 :D

OOOO very nice, i was hoping for future bass since it seemed really melodic and jazzy, but i was really suprised with the out take, i do find it slighty repetitve but the effort put forth makes up for it, either way the outro seems slightly empty. A good track no matter what

X3LL3N responds:

Like I wrote in the description, I'll edit the outro. It was supposed to be a drop then an outro but my earpods died x)
Thanks for the review c:

very nice

Froej responds:

thanks dude uwu

never seen something like this from you, and im not disappointing. my only complaint is that the drop does seem to fit the mood of the verse before that, but its still incredibly crafted. Great job nontheless

Froej responds:

I didn't understand what you said about the drop, but thanks a lot dude!

WOW I STARTED JAMMING 2 SECONDS IN

This track is quiet frankly one of the best Video Game songs on this site. The intro really gets me like im about to go fight the hardest damn boss in the game and i think the whole composition in a nutshell is wonderfully crafted. Its not repetitive though i wish there was more umph to it.

With that out of the way its a very good song. I do have a few questions
1. What plugins did you use?
2. What DAW Do you use?
3. Did you mix and master it?

Anyway its very catchy, i hope to see alot more from you in the future

Barzoom responds:

Hi there! Thank you for all of the kind words, but I can't take responsibility for the composition!
This is from composer Tenpei Sato from the game Disgaea! (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqsleevkskY).

To answer your questions:
1. Nexus and its SID extension.
2. Fl Studio
3. Yes I did! Although it's a tad too loud.

Thanks again!
